We are the proud breeders and owners of the Great Danes you will see throughout our site. Ross and I married in 1968, in 1970 acquiring our first Great Dane. We have been privileged down through the years to meet some wonderful people and their dogs, not just Danes. In 1971 we met a wonderful man, who bred Great Danes in the 1940-50's. To our two children he was "Uncle Sid", to others the very successful breeder, Sid Ingham of "Ashwood" and later "Rufflyn" Great Danes. Sid taught us everything he knew, the value of a pedigree and knowing the dogs on it, the history of Great Danes in England and Australia, and much much more. Then in 1987 into our lives came a very special person in Norway, Bonnie Moen who entrusted to us her beautiful Dane, BISS RUBIS Aust.Ch. Hotpoint's Yours Truly (Imp Nord). The Danes you will see on these pages would not have been possible without the help, guidance and trust of these two people. Our Danes have brought us joy in life and sorrow at their passing, friendships here and abroad, and the wonderful world of dog shows, but looking back we would not have changed a thing!! There is nothing more wonderful than watching five or six Great Danes running free across our paddocks. Please enjoy your short journey through our years with our Danes.

Mickey is ANKC licenced to Judge Great Danes, Non Sporting, Utility and Toys(Championship), and All Breeds at Open level.  She has judged through the Eastern states of Australia (including the Great Dane Club of New South Wales Ch. Show), New Zealand (North Island and South Islands),  South Africa,  and in 2007 had the honour of judging at the Great Dane Specialty and the Toy Dog Club in Norway.
